Trzcianne ' is a village

. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Mońki
and 41 km (25 mi) north-west of the regional capital Białystok. It is close to Biebrza National Park
. The village has a population of 610.

For centuries, there were also many Jews living in Trzcianne (see shtetl
), and there still is an old Jewish cemetery in the village. About 1,200 Jews were deported to Treblinka during the Holocaust. Both during and after World War II
, many inhabitants of Trzcianne were also deported to Kazakhstan
by the Soviets.

History
