History

Prior to starting Transpara, Michael Saucier was the founder of PID, Inc. and Sequencia Corporation. Sequencia was sold to OSIsoft

 LLC and after serving as OSIsoft's Vice President of Marketing he left to start Transpara. Transpara's core product, Visual KPI, was originally designed to make real-time operations data available on BlackBerry

Visual KPI consists of two primary components, the Visual KPI Server and the Visual KPI Designer. The server is the core engine of the product and the only component used at run time. It reads data from multiple data source, applies pre-defined metadata, handles security, and generates optimized dashboards in real time for each device that has requested the data.
