Publication history

The Utopian began running online on April 15, 2009,
and was first collected in print in a limited-edition "number zero" issue, which was distributed at San Diego Comic-Con International in 2009. The regular print comic book series began publishing in the fall of 2009, collecting material that first debuted online alongside new and unseen content. As of August 2010, three regular issues have been published.

Synopsis

Teenage high school senior James Douglas becomes frustrated with his life and those around him, adopting the anonymous identity of The Utopian to bring change to his world. As his activities attract more attention, he finds more challenges from multiple sides.
