Geography

Tegna has an area, , of 2.89 square kilometres (1.1 sq mi). Of this area, 0.34 km² (0.131274733921462 sq mi) or 11.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.72 km² (0.66409571277916 sq mi) or 59.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.47 km² (0.181468014538491 sq mi) or 16.3% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.14 km² (34.6 acre) or 4.8% is either rivers or lakes and 0.51 km² (0.196912100882193 sq mi) or 17.6% is unproductive land.
