There had already been rumors of a DMB studio effort in January 2012, with Dave indicating this as a possibility at Randall's Island during the DMB Caravan; he did not give specifics, but said that he "hoped the band would have new music by the time we see you again". The Lillywhite rumors stem from Lillywhite attending a Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds concert on November 18. 2011 at United Palace Theatre in New York City. It is rumored that he and band manager Coran Capshaw discussed Lillywhite's return as being very likely. Lillywhite has tweeted on several occasions that he is looking forward to January (seemingly when DMB is returning to the studio), and that he has "met with old friends" recently.
