Sigma Alimentos is a Mexico

Sigma creates its fare in 30 food-producing plants, which include 13 for processed meats, 13 more for dairy products, three for prepared meals and one for beverages. Products are channeled through more than 100 distribution centers. All food production facilities are certified by ISO 9002, TIF (for Mexico), some by the USDA (for the United States), and the European Union. Moreover, Sigma uses Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), a globally recognized process control system designed to identify “critical” points in the production process and reduce safety hazard incidents. Also, all plants have their own water treatment facilities to provide a safer and cleaner environment.
Along with a dominant market presence and strong brand recognition, Sigma benefits by owning Mexico’s largest refrigerated distribution network.
Sigma has opened distribution in the USA, and has the headquarters of Sigma Foods in Houston, Texas
. A new meat processing plant has been built at 701 E. Goodhope Rd. in Seminole, Oklahoma and ribbon cutting ceremonies marked its official 9 May 2008 opening.
September, 2010, Sigma purchased Bar-S Foods, based in Phoenix
