Kimberly and Robyn manage to bribe him to let them stay there for the night, despite his warnings away from the area as it is unsafe. Kimberly then tells the others that a few years previous, a group of snowboarders murdered a young girl at the resort, and that's why it had closed down. Cole and Pike manage to turn on the resorts electricity, activating the mountains lights and chairlift

. As Cole and Pike snowboard, the two bond before Cole's snowboard breaks, forcing the pair to walk down the mountain back to their cabin. While Robyn uses the chairlift, the evil skier boards with her. At first Robyn thinks it is just a friendly skier trespassing, however they attempt to push Robyn off the chairlift. Robyn fights back and manages to push the skier off the chairlift. Meanwhile, Skyler bumps into Shelly while she ski's. The two get on well and decide to stick together, heading to the chairlift. As Robyn prepares to deboard the chairlift, her scarf wraps around the bar and begins to drag her with the chair. The chairlift stops when Robyn hits an emergency stop, but Skyler and Shelly unknowingly activate the chairlift again, hanging Robyn in the process. While on the chairlift, Shelly seduces Skyler and the pair make out, however after deboarding, Bud appears and tells his daughter, Shelly, to go home to which she obeys, before he threatens Skyler.

At the cabin, Skyler meets up with Cole and Pike, and tells them of Shelly, before the trio stumble upon the Sheriff's body. The group are quick to suspect Chrisophe as the murderer, and set off to warn the others. Meanwhile, Christophe and Kimberly find a hot tub, where Kimberly finds out that Christophe is really an American, who was one of the snowboarders who murdred the little girl at the resort, although he swears it was an accident. Since then, all those involved in the accident have been murdered. He tells her he purposly got himself invited to the resort as he believes Shelly's father, Bud, killed his friends to get revenge for the death of his youngest daughter and also that he hates snowboarders because of the incident. Cole finds Robyn's body, while Pike and Skyler make their way to the hidden house in the mountain. Here, they find the killers lair, where the little girl has been preserved in ice. The pair discover Kirk's body before they are attacked by the evil skier, who stabs Skyler in the leg with an axe, however both of them get away. Cole stumbles upon Kimberly and Christophe having sex, and angrirly leaves. Kimberly follows him and they bump into Pike and Skyler who tell them of their attack. The group realize that Christophe is not the killer and rush back to warn him. As he is in the hot tub, Christophe has an encounter with the killer, who beats him to death with a shovel. The group return, only to find his dead body.

Returning back to the cabin, they find the car has been broken and the dead bodies of their friends lined up in the snow. Going into the cabin, Cole and Pike take the injured Skyler upstairs and tend to his leg, while Kimberly gathers weapons. She ventures down into the basement, where she discovers Christophe's dead friends. They decide they should try to escape, so Cole and Pike go outside to fix the car, where they kiss. While Kimberly is inside, she does realize the killer sneaking into Skyler's room. The killer murders Skyler, stabbing him through the eye with a ski pole. Kimberly notices Skyler's blood and hides in a cupboard from the killer, where she finds Chad's body. As she tries to contact Cole on the radio, the killer finds her and begins to break a hole in the door to get in. The killer soon gives up, prompting Kimberly to try to escape, but is attacked when she opens the door. Cole hears Kimberly's screams and rushes into the cabin where he finds her dying. The killer then traps Cole in the cabin.

Outside, Pike manages to get the car started but is attacked by the killer, who causes her to crash the car. As she tries to escape, she is hit in the head. Cole escapes and finds Pike's body with the rest of his friends. Enraged, he boards the chairlift taunting the killer as he does. The chairlift stops and an unknown figure arrives on a snowmobile
