The planning and original concept and basic story of Robotics;Notes is being headed by Shikura. Naotaka Hayashi will be the scenario writer for the game and Tatsuya Matsubara the producer. The character designs are being done by Tomonori Fukuda and the mechanical designs will be done by Makoto Ishiwata. The composer of the game will be Takeshi Abo

. Shikura has been working on the game since as early as July 2010 though it is still in the early stages of development as Shikura is still working on the game's general story.
