 which was sent to attack a group of retreating Ethiopians. His pursuit ended when the Ethiopians were joined by a relief column and then turned on Maletti. Both sides claimed victory after some confused fighting.

After Ethiopia was defeated, Maletti stayed in Italian East Africa
