Phadtare (or Fadtare) is one of the Maratha clan among 96 clans of Maratha community hailing mainly from Indian state of Maharashtra and states boardering to it.

Origine

The Phadtares claim descent from Pallava Dynasty of Kanchi who settled in Maharashtra in Ninth Century being Chandravanshi Marathas.
