. They formed in 1989 and released several LP

', and 'Soul is Cheap'. Their most recent release, The Wicked Leading the Blind, was released by Memphis-based Fat Sandwich.

The band took a hiatus in 2001. During the next five years they played only once or twice a year. Pezz members Christian Walker and Anthony Siracusa formed Akasha during this time period, eventually recruiting Ceylon Mooney. Akasha recorded three cds and did a nationwide tour with Bury the Living. Bury the Living also features Ceylon, Christian, Anthony and Shawn.
Although they no longer tour, the band continues to play, write and record music. Pezz's most recent release is a split release with Memphis band While I Breathe I Hope.
