SR 211 runs entirely within Dover in central Tuscarawas County

. The highway begins at a signalized intersection with SR 800, where Wooster Avenue and Front Street. SR 211 runs southwest from this junction along Front Street through a commercial district. It sraddles the northwestern banks of the Tuscarawas River

 until it arrives at Tuscarawas Avenue traffic signal. From there, SR 211 turns to the northwest, and follows Tuscarawas Avenue amidst a business district prior to passing into a residential neighborhood. Passing to the southwest of Dover High School, SR 211 continues amidst a vast residential area until it arrives at the Slingluff Avenue signalized intersection. At this point, SR 211 turns to the west-northwest, and proceeds past some commercial businesses and across a set of railroad tracks prior to arriving at its endpoint where it meets SR 39 at a signalized intersection, a very short distance east of where SR 39 meets I-77/US 250.

SR 211 is not included as a part of the National Highway System
