handed down sentences for 3 Norconsult-employees for having aided corruption (medvirkning til korrupsjon) — a six months prison sentence (two months suspended), a 90 days prison sentence (suspended), and a 60 days prison sentence (suspended) were handed down on July 15,2011.
The company (which had been charged together with 3 of its employees) was acquitted, while the court noted that "there is no doubt that the bribes totalling around 1 000 000 Norwegian kroner were effected for furthering the company's interests".
