- Since April 2008 the station is being extensively refurbished (apparently a very long and slow process) to provide long overdue barrier-free access to all main platforms and a new terminal connection with the Pasing northern bypass road (being built). At the same time numerous developments of the immediately surrounding area (shopping centers, office blocks, bus terminal) are thoroughly modernising this previously rather neglected quarter.
