Modlife
Encyclopedia
Modlife is a website that connects fans with bands, artists and personalities using live video broadcasts, text messaging, video blogs, mobile updating and twitter feeds. Modlife's goal is to reward loyal fans and to create a new revenue stream for content creators through a high level of interactivity between celebrities and fans. Modlife’s business model is based on a community of fans who create profiles, leave comments, and engage in live text chats with each other and with their favorite celebrities.

User sites

In November 2008 the company launched "usersites" which allow registered users to create their own microsites within Modlife. Each user can design their own page, post blogs, photos and videos, add friends, and communicate with other fans. Usersites also have a "TopTen" section where they add their favorite pieces of content from anywhere on Modlife and recommending videos, blogs, photos and other site content to friends.
