Metinvest is an international and vertically integrated mining and steel corporation. It was established on 6th June 2006 by the SCM Group. In 2007 Metinvest Ukraine LLC and Metinvest Service Metal Centres LLC were established to function as subsidiaries engaged in production and supply of steelmaking

Metinvest is managing managing each link of the production chain – iron ore and coal mining and coke production through to semi-finished and finished steel production; including the manufacturing of plate and coil, pipe rolling, shapes and bars and other value-added products.
Metinvest employs over 80,000 people.
