History
In 1996, the company was formed in Hong Kong, it was first a home office of the founder and then started in a small room near the Golden Computer Centre, which is famous for selling both genuine IT products and illegal software.MapKing navigation software for PDA was first launched in end 2002 with Hong Kong map and expands to more than 80 maps in Asia, the largest collection of navigation map in the region.
In 2007, MapKing launched the first Real Time Traffic GPS Navigation version in South East Asia in Singapore.
