Tarkan Karaalioglu better known as MOK, is a German
rapper of Turkish
descent. His name "MOK" means "Muzik oder Knast" (Ger: Music or Jail) was awarded to him by the Berlin hip hop legend Maxim. He is a member of rap crew Die Sekte
. He got his own label at Sony BMG called Yo!Musix.
MOK is also well known for his controversies with other German rappers, including Bushido
, Kool Savas
and Farid Bang
. During his career he released many diss tracks, but they does not paid so much attention, so the competitions does not respond on him.
. The next five years used MOK to expanded his talent. It is believed that Tarkan Karaalioglu stole the name 'MOK' off the Master Of Knowledge. It is unknown how this happened, but it is believed that Cowboy Snr. was involved.
His first rap tries made MOK with ASEK of Kaosloge. At the same time he meets Mach One of Bassboxxx

The reason for this change was, that the lawyers of Bushido
threated MOK to sued him, because he had stealed the name of his record label ersguterjunge
.
On the 5 March 2007, reached his video for "Big Boss" Top 10 in the MTV

charts. It was the first time, that a video of him was seen on TV.
On the 25 May he released his second album Hustler, which was later banned, like others releases such as Musik oder Knast and Bad Boys.
. Three months later he got transfers at Bayern, were he wait during eighteen months for his trail.
MOK got accused for gang criminal and bodly arms. He got sentenced to five years and six months and must serves in the JVA Tegel in Berlin, but times later with the help of Aggro Berlin
he got transfers into the open prison in Berlin-Plötzensee.
