Indeed many cities and islands in Dalmatia had a consistent Italian-speaking (or rather, Venetian-speaking) population since the Middle Ages; in some places the Italian component was prevalent, but in any case the population used to be ethnically mixed in many areas, especially along the coast. So several of the Italian names in the list cannot really be considered "exonyms", but they should really be seen as autoctonous names.
