History

Line 7 will share track with Line 5 (part of Circumflegrea) from Montesanto to Soccavo and with Line Cumana from "Montesanto" to "Zoo-Edenlandia". The remainder is under construction and will form an underground link between the Circumflegrea railway and the Cumana railway and will connect the new campus of the University of Naples Federico II
