from Stratton, Vermont

At the 2006 Winter Olympics
, Jacobellis won the silver medal in Women's Snowboard Cross's Olympics debut. She is also a seven-time snowboard cross champion at the X Games
.
She has been featured in several high-profile advertising campaigns, including a Visa

A year later at the 2007 Winter X Games, Jacobellis lost the lead in a fall near the finish line. She regained the gold medal in the same event at Winter X Games XII
