In addition, multiple institutions in the LIU network, known as "Centers of Excellence," collaborate through programs in education, health sciences, hospitality, architecture, art and design, and culinary arts. Centers of Excellence

Through Laureate Centers of Excellence in health sciences, LIU offers medical and health sciences programs to 65,000 students in 10 countries, 17 institutions, 57 cities, and 62 campuses and online. More than 49,000 students around the world are pursuing degrees in education at Laureate Centers of Excellence in Education. More than 34,000 students worldwide are enrolled in Laureate programs in architecture, art, and design.

Social Responsibility

Laureate Education supports more than 100 nonprofit organizations through the Sylvan/Laureate Foundation. Through its partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative, Laureate provides scholarships internationally. Laureate also operates the International Youth Foundation's YouthActionNet social entrepreneurship awards program at Laureate universities in Mexico, Brazil, and Spain.
