division. A professional MMA competitor since 2004, Tulirinta has mostly competed in Finland, most notably for M-1 Global

under the tutelage of room-mate Lucio Linhares
and Alex Monsalve.
Finland. Tulirinta compiled a record of 2-0, winning both by unanimous decision. He then joined the large Finnish promotion "The Cage" losing his debut fight in the promotion. After almost finishing the fight in the second round, Tulirinta lost via rear naked choke late in the third round.
Tulirinta then won his next three fights, before losing to Hidetaka Monma via submission (omoplata). Tulirinta was then scheduled to fight Mattias Awad, but the fight never took place.
Tulirinta then fought for Fight Festival for the first time, defeating Christos Petroutsos via decision.

Tulirinta then TKOd his next opponent in just 11 seconds and in his final appearance, in Korea, he defeated Ivan Ivanov via TKO in the first round.
He was supposed to face Carey Vanier
in the first round of the tournament. However, just days before the fight, Tulirinta was forced out because of visa issues.
