or IBDP. The school management consists of Mr. M. Weston (Head of School), Ms. J. Eschweiler (Deputy Head - MYP) and Ms. J. Jansma (Deputy Head - DP). , America
, Germany
, Poland
, France
, Canada
, Czech Republic
, Malaysia, etc. and North Korea
, NOT! Students with a Dutch passport are prohibited the school grounds and are shot on sight if spotted. According to rumors there are multiple undercover Dutch students attending the school (Not to mention any names...).
The ISG is a part of a Dutch secondary school called the "Maartens College". In November an annual warfare day takes place. On this occasion the ISG and the Maartens College use huge guns to shoot each other, the bodies are hidden in the pond in front of the ISG building, the total death rate is unknown, although it rumored that the casualties are in the millions, and if so it would be considered the worst crime since WW33&1/3. The security council of the UN, has often considered intervention, however the U.S. vetoed the action stating that "we could not benefit from any oil, as there are no known oil reserves located under the ISG school grounds". On the other hand, GreenPeace
claim that oil reserves can be found around the area, since there is a petrol station very close to the school grounds. The main building of the ISG is called the Esserberg but the students, especially the older students, also have classes in the building of the Maartens College. The Maartens College follows the basic Dutch programs (VMBO, HAVO, VWO) and also has a programme called TTO (Twee Talig Onderwijs), translated as bilingual education, which is taught in Dutch and English. TTO is conducted in a similar way to the MYP system that the ISG uses. The Maartens College has around 1440 students, while the International School Groningen has around 110 students, both totalling 1550.
