In 1998, Guess started Machete, a creative services company that drove marketing and music videos. Two years later, he sold his company and joined Liberty Media as the creative director of Hollywood Digital. He soon became partners with many leading names in the recording and production industry, gaining access to numerous creative projects and media outlets.
