's fathers record label Q-Productions. While a member of Oxygeno, he began touring and sharing the stage with many well known Tejano music artist. While on tours, he spent most of his time listening to and studying all genres of music, which broadened his musical interests. In early '98, gilflo moved to Lubbock, Texas
, After playing with and helping many Tejano music groups, Gilde took his interests in the genre of rock. In 2001, Gilde moved to San Antonio and joined a group named Nine Volt. The group quickly gained popularity performing at night clubs. After being heard by comedian Paul Rodriguez

and many other successful and well known artist. After many intense sessions, Gilde felt as if he was missing out on the creating process of music. Later that year, gilflo decided to go into the production stages of music. In these productions stages, he was approached by a Hip Hop artist and family member, Mike Saiz, to work on his project (later becoming an album). Taking on this project, the pair completed the task in a matter of weeks which also lead to Mike being signed to an Independent label. After this accomplishment, gilflo's interests in this genre became one of his main focuses and he began creating a music catalog of Hip Hop and R&B tracks.

and was to be produced by Ashton Kutcher
and his team of Katalyst Media
. Gilflo quickly jumped aboard this project and provided over 20 music tracks that aired on the show. These tracks were placed on 7 of the 8 episodes (being that the 1st was the piolet) that aired on MTV and other syndicated stations. One of the tracks also landed the spot as a bumper, which played each time the episode returned from commercials. Gilflo quickly established communications and relationships with many artists, managers, and well known A&R
's in the industry. Through these connections, his work was handed directly into the hands of artists, both signed and unsigned. Around mid year, gilflo was asked and produced the official remix for Latin Grammy nominee Stefani Montiel. Towards the End of the year and the beginning of the next, the track entitled "Labios Veneosos (gilflo remix)" earned a spot on the album "Divina". This song made the final nomineeies in the 2009 Tejano Music Awards
for crossover song of the year and also made the final nominee's (Category 61) for the 2010 Grammy Awards for album of the year.
. He produced the first single off of her fifth album entitled "This Time". "This Time" is currently being aired all over the U.S. as well as overseas and quickly climbing the charts. Gilflo is also working on Amanda Perez's upcoming album scheduled to release late 2009 early 2010. Gilflo has also placed the single entitled "A.D.I.D.A.S" by well known rapper Ras Kass
, which is also the name of the album and was released in summer of 2010. He is working on yet another single with Ras Kass

Also in the works, gilflo has connected with a song writing team from LA, LA Music, and have upcoming music with stars of the popoular Latin artist Anahi and Christian Chávez both from band RBD and popular Latin show Rebelde. Gilflo has currently linked up with a music licensing company, Black Curtain TV/Film to further license music for TV & film and all other forms of media.
