Ghassan Tueni (born 1926) is a former Lebanese Ambassador to the United Nations
and publisher of An-Nahar
, the leading Lebanese newspaper.
under Charles Malik, and was influenced by him. In the 1940s Tueini travelled to USA to study at Harvard, from where he got his Masters degree. After Tueni's father died, Ghassan returned to Lebanon to continue publishing An-Nahar
