Galina Grzhibovskaya is a Ukrainian
figure skating
coach and former competitive skater who represented the Soviet Union
. She is the 1967–68 Soviet champion and three-time silver medalist.
Grzibovskaya's first coach was Svetlana Mozer (mother of Nina Mozer
), who coached her in a large children's group in Moscow
. She placed 16th at the 1968 Winter Olympics. She then began being coached by Stanislav Zhuk
but left because she could not adapt to his authoritarian style. Soon afterward she was invited to join the Kiev Ballet on Ice, where she skated for 23 years.
In the early 1990s, Kukhar began a coaching career in Kiev
