which he bought in 1852.
In 1854 he moved to London
where he operated as a wool trader. He lived permanent

at Lockerley Hall in Hampshire
after 1859 and was appointed High Sheriff of Hampshire
for 1877.
By 1884 his Company, Dalgety & Co
