The company is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Between 2006 and 2009 it reduced its carbon emissions by 33%. In 2009, it implemented a a staff awareness scheme that encouraged switching lights off at night, switching equipment off rather than leaving it on standby and using the stairs rather than the lifts.
