Biography

Moo's mother died when he was 8 and he was raised by his older sister. He was educated at Seh Chuan High School (now Shuqun Primary School) and The Chinese High School in Singapore

Moo started his music career at the age of 17. He started his first band, "Subway Band" (地下铁) in high school and began performing on stage in 1983. A year later, he released his first album, which topped Singapore's record chart
