Elizabeth Moir School is a co-educational, international school, located on two campuses in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The international school is committed to equality, welcoming students from all faiths and communities.
. The rest come from over 25 countries, many of whom have studied at international schools throughout the world. As of September 2007, there were 147 students at the Junior School and 185 at the Senior School.
The student/staff ratio is approximately 8:1. The staff attend regular seminars to help their professional development. Many of the teachers have degrees from universities throughout the world, including Oxford and Cambridge.

The school has developed a reputation for its emphasis on individual attention, academic excellence, school spirit and pastoral care. They are known for their close-knit, family-like community where everyone knows everyone. Elizabeth Moir School follows the British education system. Students sit for Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations in the Senior School. Since the school’s inception, students have been awarded places at Harvard, Cambridge and other leading universities throughout the world.In August 2007,students at Elizabeth Moir School received the following results:
- 75% of A Level papers were awarded an A or B grade and there was a 98.5% pass rate.
- 78.6% of O Level papers were awarded an A or B grade and there was a 98.8% pass rate.
