Club career

Tiendalli began his career at Ajax before transferring to FC Utrecht in the summer of 2004. He made his debut for the club in December, 2004 and preceded to break into the first team. In the summer of 2006, he moved to Feyenoord.

In the 2006–07 season, Tiendalli became injured for the whole season; to give him a chance to get to his top form again, Feyenoord loaned Tiendalli to city rivals Sparta on January 25, 2008 where he was re-united with his former FC Utrecht coach Foeke Booy
