Geography

Bibern has an area, , of 2.99 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi). Of this area, 1.85 km² (0.71428899339619 sq mi) or 61.9% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.9 km² (0.347491942733282 sq mi) or 30.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.24 km² (0.0926645180622084 sq mi) or 8.0% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.01 km² (2.5 acre) or 0.3% is either rivers or lakes.

Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 3.7% and transportation infrastructure made up 3.7%. Out of the forested land, all of the forested land area is covered with heavy forests. Of the agricultural land, 40.1% is used for growing crops and 20.7% is pastures. All the water in the municipality is flowing water.
