The Asian Food Channel is an Asian
lifestyle cable and satellite television channel
first launched in August 2005. Based in Singapore, AFC currently covers seven markets: Hong Kong

The company, AFC Network Pte Ltd., was co-founded by Singaporean Hian Goh and Briton Maria Brown, both of whom have extensive experience in business and media. Goh was a technology and media investment banker and Brown, was a producer with the BBC
. Both hold joint roles as managing directors of the company. Its lead investor is Vickers Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm focusing on venture capital investments in Asia. Symphony Investment Holdings Limited, a strategic investment company that focuses on long-term direct investment opportunities in the Asia Pacific region participated in the subsequent round of financing in 2008. Symphony trades their shares and warrants on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange
and have been operating in Asia since 1981.
