Economy

Tomatoes, potatoes, pasture, watermelon, corn, melon and some other types of fruits and vegetables are grown in the municipality. Citrus and olive groves dominate the hills east of Tragano. The tomato factory "Asteris" produces a lot of tomato sauce, sold throughout Greece.

History

Andravida military airport and base
