Dog registration
To register a purebred canine with the ACA, the canine's parents must be registered with the ACA. If the canine has a foreign registry lineage or parents are not registered with the ACA, you must submit a 3 generation pedigree from the current registry, along with the canine or litter certificate from the current registry. The registration of a canine in the ACA does not certify the quality or health of the animal. Only a certified veterinarian may verify the health of the canine. You can also submit the Health Certification Form signed by a certified veterinarian and this information will be included in your registration record, to help breeders and owners maintain healthy canine colonies.ACA Veterinary Health
The American Canine Association encourages all professional breeders to have their breeding colonies certified free of congenital defects by licensed veterinarians. ACA Dog Shows and Events
ACA have supported professionals clubs and organization with sanctioned dog shows and seminars. Many of this organizations include Professional Breeder Associations around US, PPDBA, MPBA, IAPBA, PPA, MNPBA and ABCDA. This organizations offers seminars to educate dog breeders in USDA regulations, health and animal care. ACA also sanctioned national events and championships for the American Ringsport Federation , Canadian Ring Sport Association, the Caribbean Dog Sport Club.
