. This album contains simple Christian songs of praise and worship for the goodness, mercy, thanksgiving, and grace of the Lord. Praise and Worship could be any type of music that glorifies God regardless of the style, for Christian music “includes all brands and categories of music consumed in the Christendom whether by the church, Para-church or non-church organizations". Such Praise and Worship songs are common in Christian culture, and they tend to be lyrically "short and easy to sing", which makes the memorization process rather quick. The Contemporary Christian

. Integrity Music is a "privately held media communications company that produces, publishes, and distributes Christian music"., and does so to fulfill its mission of: "helping people worldwide experience the manifest presence of God".. "In 2005 a new relationship commenced as Sony BMG's Provident Music Group and Integrity Music Group announced their agreement where Provident Music Group will sell and distribute releases from all Integrity Music-owned and associated music labels to Christian retail outlets.".

The album "Amazing Love" is played in many homes and churches across the world, and Graham Kendrick and Integrity Music have created a large interest in Christian songs through this album in British churches particularly..
To be considered a Christian song, "the content of Christian music must be spiritual. All praises, prayers, petitions, pleas, worship etc., that are rendered in Christian music should be from the spirit to God"(Phil. 3:3). Christian music passes a message to the people who listen to it, and to further explain: "Christian music is conceptualized and recognized as meaningful according to the message(s) it passes across to its hearers".Graham Kendrick the recorder of "Amazing Love" is said to be referred to as the “father of modern worship music” on his website. Graham's website also states it has been said about his songs: that they are “crammed full of poetic, divine, biblical truth” and that he has “sculpted a view of God that has impacted generations", and the writing in his songs speaks for itself. From this one can formulate a theory of: could one's relationship with their spiritual leader influence them into songwriting? Graham Kendrick himself stated in an interview with Jesus Life magazine that, "whenever exciting things are happening in our relationship with God it overflows in music and praise!" and from his statement one could say that it quite likely for one to be affected by such a close relationship and, as in the case of Graham, affected to the point of expressing praise through song(s). It is said that "the great commission of Christian music is to bring humans and Christ into contact" and it can be seen that the songs listed within this album make a valid effort to do this, with such titles as "You Have Called Us","Send us Forth", and "O Magnifiy the Lord".
