AirQuarius was established and started operations in 1999 by its owner Gavin Branson and has 120 employees. The airline specializes on operating flights to political crisis areas. As such, AirQuarius was the only operator into Baghdad

Fleet

As of September 2010, AirQuarius operates only one aircraft, a 15 year old Fokker 70. In previous years, the airline owned two Boeing 737-200 jet aircraft.
