Lochinvar Acquisition

On July 19, 2011, A. O. Smith announced plans to acquire the privately held Lochinvar Corporation, of Lebanon, TN, for $418 million. Lochinvar, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency boilers used in commercial and residential hydronic heating and hot water applications, will fill a void in A. O. Smith's global product lineup.
