History

Yeola is old City. Specially known for work of an holy Sant Raghuji Baba, who was Main reformer of Yeola City. He built the 1st Mosque in Yeola. People say that when Mughal King Aurangzeb would pass through any city with his army to capture India and if he would not find any Mosque Masjid (Place of Prayers for Muslim), he would destroy the whole city or village. When he was passing through deccan south part of India or Aurangabad ,he also passed Yeola City. A fear erupted in small Yeola City. People of Yeola City were worried about this fact since no single Muslim live in Yeola City & so there was no Mosque or masjid.
Raghuji Baba gathered some people and they built a Mosque. But after building the Mosque fear was not gone. Because there were no Muslims in city. He gathered some Muslim from surrounding area, And brought them to Yeola City. This is like folk talk of Building of First Mosque of yeola city which called Patel ki Masjid and which is located in Bhaldar Galli near Samadhi of Raghuji Baba. This Mosque was build by Hindu. Fortunateness in 1985 during Communal Riots some devil element tries to burn & destroy this Historical Masjid

Osmaniy School presently knew as Urdu School No. 1 which is located opposite Anglo Urdu High School Yeola near Beef Market or in Badi. This was form by On Teacher & Social Reformer of Yeola 's Muslim Community Mr Ali Khan Multani whom peoples knew as Ali Khan Hazarat. He was teacher in Yeola High School which was located on present Theater Road before 1947. Ofter Independence this school perhaps turn in Marathi Medium School. At that time Muslim of Yeola was very poor. The wave Batti or Pagadi on hand loom & sale this was only source of their earning. due to poverty Muslim Boys not get education & there was not any Urdu School so Ali Khan Hazrat deiced to established Urdu School in yeola.
He works like Sir Sayyed Ahmed Khan of yeola, Sir Sayyed Ahmed Khan who founded first University in Aligrah for education of Muslim. He gather donation from peoples all over India to build this School.
and after building school he adopt children from poor family for giving then education. He bore all expense of their education himself or by Osmaniya School. From this school some schooler social reformer and bureaucrat taken education. Among which Dr. Amanat Shaikh noted Urdu Writer schooler of Persian Language & Lecturer of Pune University and Wadia College Pune, Mr Aslam Deputy Collector of Ahmed Nagar, Professor Dastagir Shahab of Pune are some. Presently this school knew as Zilla Parishad Urdu School No 1. Noted Urdu Hindi Writer M.Mubin also get his primary education from this school from 1 to 7 Std. Who is now author of 35 Books 13 in Urdu & 22 in Hindi. Who also won National Award By Hand of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpai for his Hindi Book "Yatna Ka Ek Din" in year 2000-2001 as None Hindi Writers National Award of Central Hindi Directorate. And also won Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Akadmiy ;s Munshi Premchand Award for His Hindi Novel "Rewad: Year 2006. He also beg Childrens Literature State Award for his Childrens One Act play collection " Mal e Muft" from Maharashtra Rajya Urdu Sahitya Akadmi in Year 1998 & He also get Maharasthra State Fiction Award for his Urdu Short Story Collection " Nai Sadi Ka Azab " for year 2006 From Maharashtra Rajya Urdu Sahitya Akademi
