Toronto

Word on the Street was first held in Toronto in 1990. Until 2003, the festival was on a section of Queen Street West

Halifax

The Halifax event, first held in 1995, takes place at the Cunard Event Centre on the Halifax waterfront.

Calgary

In 2007, the board of the Calgary event announced that it would not be held in 2008 for logistical reasons.
