 for a celebrity tournament on Temptation and appeared on commercials for the Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency. Also in December 2005, Wilbur joined Vega 91.5fm as the Drive Announcer from 4pm until 7pm. He was with Vega 91.5fm until 2008.

In 2010 Wilde starred as T.V. Evangelist "Brother Jacob" in Pittot Films' neo-noir thriller "City of the Damned" which is due for release late 2010

Wilbur became a household name during his 15-year run as member of the house band on Hey Hey from 1984 through until the last episode in 1999. He has made numerous other TV appearances throughout his career on shows including The Flying Doctors
