The school will be demolished to make room for the station and a new high school, West Calgary High School, will be built 3.5 kilometres away at the 69 Street SW Station, the terminus of the west line.  service to Mount Royal University. The station platform will be located underground with two entrances above ground. This will be the first operational underground C-Train station in Calgary when opened. A station was planned for under Calgary's Olympic Plaza

 however only the approach tunnel exists below Calgary's Municipal Building as part of a subway system that was partially built and mothballed in the mid 1980s. The station will primarily serve the communities of Spruce Cliff, Rosscarrock, and Killarney.
