The transit center opened on March 15, 2004, and was built on top of the existing PATCO Broadway Station, which opened as one of the four original stations on the Bridge Line on June 7, 1936. Southbound service from the station via the River Line is available to the Camden Waterfront. Northbound service is available to the Trenton Rail Station
