Curtis Wright hosted "The Morning Beat" from 2006 until 2010, when his other job, and true passion, as a street-ballerina became his primary focus. He was replaced by a looped-recording of an old lady ordering soup at a diner, which actually got triple the ratings of Wright's highest charting show the previous four years. Once negotiations with the old lady fell through, when her demands of being paid in BB Bats could not be met, she was replaced by Chad Adams. Chad's cool. He doesn't yell obscenities at deaf children on the street like Curtis. (Although Curtis did say "Those kids were looking at me funny! And one made a pass at me! I'm not gay!")
