Every year, Villa Walsh's athletic teams are recognized state-wise. Most notable are the Cross Country and Tennis teams. The Tennis team has won multiple tournaments, and has proved to be a force in the New Jersey tennis scene. The Cross Country team won Conferences in 2006. Additionally, the soccer team has proved itself as a strong parochial soccer team. It has reached the state tournament for two consecutive years. The track team has won the conference, as has the basketball team. Despite playing in arguably one of the most difficult softball conferences in the state, the softball team has held its own playing competitive games with powerhouses such as James Caldwell High School
