Objectives

  • To provide an entertaining show consisting of hip hop dance and musical acts.
  • Increase the visibility of dance groups in mainstream media.
  • Promote greater diversity in the Southern California arts and entertainment industry by opening an avenue for various dance groups.
  • To promote and emphasize the need to contribute back to our community.

. The 2010 VIBE XV's official lineup consisted of four pre-show teams, eleven competing teams, and ten exhibition teams .

Hosts

Up until VIBE XIII in 2008, VIBE was hosted by 21XL Production's Myron Marten, who has also hosted other various dance shows. For 2009, VIBE XIV's scheduled host is Mookie, from the Sickstep dance crew. In 2010, VIBE XV was once again hosted by Mookie who also hosted this year's Hip Hop International in Las Vegas, Nevada.

VIBE XV chose Culture Shock Los Angeles as their organization of choice. Culture Shock LA is a community outreach program which has recently undergone financial issues that almost led to their closing. With the revenue generated from VIBE XV, the brothers of Lambda Theta Delta were able to present Culture Shock LA with a significant donation in order to help rebuild the organization.
