 , they play in the top Swedish basketball league Ligan. Uppsala Basket was founded in 1960 and plays it home games at Fyrishov. The club quickly became one of the top basketball clubs in Sweden.

The club has always been known for its talent development. Recent years this has been shown by a large number of players in the Swedish youth national teams hailing from Uppsala. The club has a unique cooperation with a basketball academy which allows players to practice individually in a very inspiring environment.
