They recalled old talks with former lovers, broken promises, words of love and past experiences with them formed their lyrics, looking for originality with them, good quality and promoting the culture, making it an influence to future artists, filled with harmony for all people and giving a passion for life in the compositions.
Un Día de Octubre has been well-accepted and not just in their native city (Juarez, Mexico), but also outside it, being invited to participate in various events such as the International Festival Chihuahua for two consecutive years (2008 and 2009). The group has visited several municipalities, at the opening concert for the Rock for Peace Festival, as well as at bars and private parties in Albuquerque
